Supreme Oil Industries produces virgin coconut oil at its unit in Kangayam, Tirupur district, Tamil Nadu. We have manufactured coconut products here since 2004, and virgin coconut oil sits alongside our organic coconut oil and edible copra lines.
What Makes an Oil Virgin
The word is about what was not done to the oil. Virgin coconut oil is:
- Unrefined — it does not go through a refining stage
- Unbleached — no bleaching earth, no clarifying agents
- Not deodorised — the coconut aroma is left where it belongs

Refined oil is stripped of all four. That is why it is odourless, colourless and cheap. Virgin oil keeps the aroma, the colour and the price.
How We Press It
Cold pressed, low temperature
We use cold extraction and traditional wooden ghani pressing. Keeping the temperature down is the whole point: heat is fast, and heat is what destroys the compounds a buyer is paying for.
We control the raw material
The coconut is bought around Kangayam and dried on our own yard. We are not pressing someone else's material and hoping. See how we make our copra.
