Hairdressing at Toni and Guy is a taught discipline. Hair is divided into sections, tension is held constant, and the shape is built from the interior outward so that weight sits where it should. The result grows out cleanly rather than collapsing after three weeks.

How long does a haircut take?

Forty-five minutes for most men's cuts; sixty to ninety minutes for women's, depending on length and complexity.

What is included in a haircut?

Consultation, shampoo, sectioned cutting, a dry cross-check, blow-dry finish and an aftercare conversation.

How long do colour and keratin take?

Global colour runs two to three hours. Keratin runs three to four, and requires a 72-hour no-wash period afterwards.

Do I need a patch test?

Yes for first-time colour — 48 hours before the appointment. It takes five minutes and costs nothing.

What is the difference between the stylist grades?

Assessed academy hours and independent floor experience. Senior grades handle restructuring cuts, difficult texture and correction work.
