To begin a sport or to maintain a healthy lifestyle a Doctor advises for a brisk walk in the early morning. Jogging or running is very essential for one to keep their body in warm up condition before starting any game. For instance, track and field athletes may want to jog just a little bit before their event, just to get their blood pumping.

The practice of warming up prior to exercise is advocated in injury prevention programs, but this is based on limited clinical evidence. It is hypothesized that warming up will reduce the number of injuries sustained during physical activity.
