About the Journal


The journal "Literary Musings" was founded by Dr. G. Rajesh Kumar, an Assistant Professor at the Madurai Kamaraj University, Directorate of Distance Education, Madurai. The journal was founded in the year 2023, with the aim of providing a platform for scholars and researchers of literature to share their ideas and research findings. Dr. G. Rajesh Kumar is an expert in English Literature, with over a decade of experience in teaching and research. He is also a prolific writer, with several articles and research papers to his credit. Dr. Kumar realized that there was a need for a forum where scholars could exchange ideas, theories, and research findings with their peers. Thus, he founded "Literary Musings", a bi-yearly journal (January and July) that focuses on English Studies. Since its inception, "Literary Musings" has the plan to publish articles, essays, and research papers on various aspects of literature, including poetry, drama, fiction, and non-fiction. The journal has also will cover a wide range of topics, such as literary theory, postcolonial literature, feminist literature, and cultural studies. The journal has the motto “to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield in doing academic services and attracting contributions from scholars and researchers from across India and abroad. Over the years, "Literary Musings" has gained a reputation as a leading journal in the field of literature. Its peer-reviewed articles have been cited by scholars and researchers, and it has been recognized for its contribution to the field of literary studies. The journal has also been indexed in several international databases and is widely read and cited by scholars from around the world. Dr. G. Rajesh Kumar has been instrumental in ensuring the success of "Literary Musings". Apart from being the founder of the journal, he has also served as the editor-in-chief and has overseen the publication of several issues. Aim

The primary aim of "Literary Musings" is to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and professionals working in the field of English studies to publish scholarly articles and critical analyses of literary works. The journal aims to cover all branches of English studies, including but not limited to literature, linguistics, culture, history, and critical theory. Through its publication, the journal seeks to promote exceptional scholarship, stimulate intellectual discourse, and foster the advancement of the discipline. Scope The scope of "Literary Musings" is broad and encompasses a wide range of topics and subject matter related to English studies. The journal welcomes submissions from all fields within the discipline, including but not limited to:

1. Literature:

Literature is at the core of English studies, and the journal welcomes articles on literary works from various genres and periods, including poetry, drama, fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels.

2. Linguistics:

The journal is open to submissions on various topics within linguistics, such as language acquisition, sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, pragmatics, and phonetics.

Call for Papers

"Literary Musings" invites academic researchers, scholars and authors to submit their original research articles to publish in the peer-reviewed international research journal. All papers will be peer-reviewed and published online with available Pdf version. We maintain open access to all published research papers.
