Our coir factory is in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, in the middle of coconut country. Being close to the source lets us pick fresh husks and ship cocopeat, coco chips, growbags and coir fiber with consistent quality.
Why Pollachi
The factory sits in coconut-rich soil, so we can source from several large, high-quality coir mills and keep a steady supply of coir fiber, coco peat and coir pith.
How we make cocopeat here
- Sourcing – fresh husks from local suppliers
- Cleaning – the pith is cleaned and sieved
- Washing – low EC grades are washed and dried
- Briquetting – pressed into 650gm or 5kg blocks
- Inspection – tested and packed for export
Products made and packed in Pollachi
- 5kg Cocopeat Blocks – Washed / Low EC – 100% natural coconut husk particles. Hydrates to 80–85 litres of growing medium with EC below 0.50 mS/cm.
- 5kg Cocopeat Blocks – High EC – The same premium coco peat in a high EC grade. Expands to 80–85 litres, pH 5.5–6.5.
- 650gm Cocopeat Blocks – Washed / Low EC – Ideal for home gardening and hobby growers. Expands to 9–10 litres per brick.
- 5kg Cocochips – Washed / Low EC – An organic alternative to perlite and vermiculite. Expands to 65–75 litres for superior root aeration.
- Coir Growbags – A reliable alternative to peat moss and stone wool growbags for professional cultivation.
- Coir Fiber Bales – Mattress, mixed, omat and bristle grades, dried, quality-checked and compressed into strapped bales.
