WMM - Wet Mix Macadam

WMM (Wet Mix Macadam) supplied by SRT Blue Metals is a well-graded aggregate mix produced by blending crushed stone aggregates with water in a controlled manner. It is used as the base course layer in road and highway construction.
Unlike Dry Mix Macadam, WMM is mixed with a precise amount of water before laying, which ensures uniform compaction and a stable road base. It has excellent load-bearing capacity and provides a strong foundation for bituminous surface layers.
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Wet Mix Macadam is specified by MORTH (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) for use in National Highways, State Highways and rural road construction. It is placed in layers of 75 mm to 200 mm thickness and compacted with vibratory rollers.
SRT Blue Metals supplies WMM material that meets IS 2386 and MORTH Clause 406 specifications. Our WMM is prepared from crushed hard stone and blended to the correct gradation, ensuring maximum density and shear strength in the finished road base.
