Coco peat / coir blocks are made of 100% natural and organic coconut fiber husk particles. Coco peat acts as a biological control against plant pathogenic fungi and holds large quantities of water, just like a sponge. It is used as a replacement for traditional peat in soil mixtures or as a soil-less substrate for plant cultivation.

A single coir peat block is hydrated by adding water and slowly expands to up to 80–85 litres of coco coir growing medium.

• Best for growing plants – an excellent soil amendment for indoor potted plants and outdoor gardens, with a high Cation Exchange Capacity so nutrients are absorbed and released according to plant need.
• Best for growing seedlings – a lightweight, fluffy texture with better aeration for optimal germination of vegetable, herb, fruit and flower seeds.
• Promotes healthy root growth – absorbs water instantly, increases porosity, helps plants absorb more oxygen and prevents root rot.
• Usage – organic gardening, hydroponics, composting, worm bedding and mushroom substrate; a good substitute for peat moss.

650gm Cocopeat Blocks

650 gram cocopeat blocks are ideal for home gardening and hobby growers. The briquettes are perfect for a variety of flowering and vegetable plants.

Our cocopeat is washed, dried and compressed into a 650gm brick for efficient shipping and storage. A single 650gm brick is hydrated by adding water and slowly expands to 9 to 10 litres.

Coir pith conserves soil moisture, improves fertility and health of the soil, reduces weed growth and enhances the visual appeal of the area. Organic in nature, it can dramatically improve soil productivity when applied correctly.
