What flooring survives a dyeing unit?
A polyurethane screed at four to nine millimetres, coved up the walls and laid to fall towards the drains. It takes thermal shock from hot liquor, resists the acids and alkalis used in the process, and can be steam cleaned without crazing. Epoxy is the wrong specification for that environment however well it is applied.
Can you line an ETP tank?
Yes. Effluent treatment tanks, collection sumps and neutralisation pits are lined with chemical-resistant epoxy or FRP systems selected against the actual effluent chemistry, so bring the discharge analysis to the site visit.
